Independent Comprehensive Speech/Language Assessments

Time 2 Talk Therapy Services will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and provide recommendations for speech/language therapy goals, frequency and duration of therapy, supplementing school-based services with outpatient therapy, and provide suggestions for specially designed instruction (SDIs) to make the child more successful in the school environment.

This service is also available for families seeking independent evaluations to share with their school team.

Independent Augmentative & Alternative Communication Assessments

Time 2 Talk Therapy Services will conduct AAC Assessment and provide recommendations for AAC strategies/tools that may be helpful to the child. Brief AAC trials are also conducted as a component of these evaluations to better make recommendations for AAC strategies/tools that should be looked at more thoroughly. Time 2 Talk Therapy can continue AAC device trials with a child at the request of the school district and obtain trial devices free of charge. Once an AAC device is determined to best suite a child's needs, Time 2 Talk therapy can assist the family in obtaining funding for the communication device. These evaluations are also appropriate for school districts that are questioning the effectiveness/appropriateness of a current AAC device.
