Chelsea Hutnick - Speech Language Pathologist

Chelsea Hutnick, M.S., CCC-SLP/L, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Marywood University. She is fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Chelsea has gained valuable experience across a variety of settings, beginning with an internship at the Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children. She currently serves as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Palmerton Area School District. Chelsea has a strong professional focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) therapy and is deeply committed to working with individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), Chelsea integrates this skill into her therapy practice to provide comprehensive, total communication support to both clients and their families. Additionally, she has collaborated with local youth organizations to promote awareness and knowledge of American Sign Language. Chelsea has also presented at conferences focused on AAC, sharing her expertise and passion for enhancing communication accessibility.

 


Mary Hoffman - Literacy Coordinator & Camp Coordinator

I am Mary Hoffman and I am glad to be joining Time 2 Talk for the summer AAC camp! I have been a teacher for 14+ years and have worked with children of all ages. I have experience within learning, life skills, and emotional support classrooms. I have worked with students of all abilities. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education and General Education from Kutztown University. I have an 8 year old daughter that enjoys softball and dance. I am excited to be working with such an amazing group of women and all of the children in the summer camp!

Sasha Vana - Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Hello, and welcome! My name is Sasha Vana, and I am a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf with 7 years of experience supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in reaching their full potential. My passion lies in creating inclusive, accessible, and engaging learning environments that empower students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

I hold a Bachelors of Science in Education, and I have extensive experience working with students who use a variety of communication methods, including American Sign Language (ASL), spoken language, and assistive technology.

My approach is student-centered, ensuring that each learner receives individualized instruction tailored to their unique needs and strengths. Beyond the classroom, I am committed to advocacy, collaboration with families, and professional development to stay informed on the best practices in Deaf education. Whether I’m working with students, parents, or fellow educators, my goal is always to foster confidence, communication, and success

Service Delivery Model

Time 2 Talk Therapy Services is a mobile speech therapy provider that services Carbon County and the surrounding counties by visiting clients in their homes. Teletherapy services are available for clients outside of the immediate service area.
